Dj Spikenard:”I tell you when you are up there throwing tracks after tracks and working with the crowd, the feeling is so amazing, very spiritually uplifting. I call it the formation of unity from all walks of life with music”.

Dj Spikenard has been djing for 18 years since the age of 16. He started of his djing career in Singapore playing in clubs like : Fame(Ming Arcade),  Xclusive 56, Light House, The Bomb, Chocolate, Taps, Karma, Fez, Club 360°(Boat Quay), Zeus, Eden, Mea Culpa, Next Page, Nox, Orb, Suede, Samsara, Venue and Bed Supper Club(Mohammed Sultan Road), Sound Industry(Duxton Hill), Spiritz(Prinsep St), Kulture(Purvis St), Blu Jaz(Bali Ln), Chupitos Bar(Clarke Quay) and Zsofis(Dunlop St)

In Singapore since 1993 – 2011 he has played alongside djs like : Nervous, Vertigo, Andrew, Ajay, Latifah, Brendon P, Borhead, Ramesh. K, Rainer, Nomsta and Abbey.

He Played alongside with World class Djs such as John ‘OO’ Fleming, Sven Vath, Deep Dish:Sharem Teyabi, Brandon Block and David Puentez.

Injecting House music since 1998, Dj Spikenard knows what the crowd wants all over the world. He Performed as a guest dj in England London 2001 at Monarch at the Barfly, then later went to play at the Famous club called The End in Tottenham Court Road. He indulged in numerous underground Squat parties showcasing his skills and embracing the london underground scene.

In 2003 he left for Australia, Melbourne and Sydney playing in Clubs like 101, Dream, Republika, Cape Lounge, Room 680, Metro, Revolver, Laundry, Ace Morning, Platform 1 , Mega Bar, Bimbo’s Deluxe, Brown Alley, Gas and Tank in Sydney.

2005 May  he organized a underground Technological Secret service warehouse party in Lygon Street Melbourne.He has collarborated and worked alongside Djs such as Anura, Alex k, Jason S, Simon Slieker, Andrew Marsh, Dj Ando, Dj Chris Miller, Dj Milligram, The Teriyaki Anaki Saki Crew, Four Senses Crew, Dj Avatar and Holotropik.

2006 Feb:  China playing in all the True colour clubs like Ben Sur and  had a residency in Laluno all mostly located in Shenzhen , he also played at Yellow club in Shenzhen, In-Club in Shen Zhen China, Soho Bar in Sekou China and he played at the R & B House in the city of Laibin (Nanning) .

2007 Feb: Koh Samui at the Barhaus in Lamai beach and Djed in (Koh phanghan) Thailand for fullmoon, halfmoon, backyard after party, coral pool parties and leela beach white dress party.

2007 Jun: Vancouver at the Ginger 62 club. Then he took off to play in Buddha Bar in Stuttgart and U60311 Club in Frankfurt Germany.

2007 Sept: Ibiza at the famous Bora Bora club on Playa de Bossa beach.

Dj accomplishments: Dj Spikenard has participated in the DMC Technics world Dj Championship in Singapore in 1999 .He also participated in The Nokia Turntablist competition.

The DJ styles : Filled with much enthusiasm in what he plays, his style of building and layering is as the likes of Dj Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Claude Young, Ken ishii, Tatsuoko Fuji, Fumiya Tanaka, Satoshie Tommie, Trentemoller, Magda Poska, Booka Shade, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick Carter, Carl Cox, Gui Borrato, Audion, Alessandro Diga, Andrea Bertolini, Dead Mau 5, Olivier Giacomotto, Lützenkirchen and Dave Angel.

Music Genres: Minimal Techno, Techno and Electro Clash.

Equipments: Technics 1200s mk2, Pioneer Cdjs 1000 mk 2s, Pioneer  djm 800, Roland 505, 909, Korg mx-1 and Korg sx-1.

Softwares: Serrato, Traktor, Itch, Ableton Live, Logic Express, Reason and Cubase 5.
